Sisters {Gaithersburg infant and family photographer}

Sometimes in life you are lucky enough to stumble upon friendships that are just easy. It doesn’t matter how often you see your friend, or how far apart you are because when you do get together everything just falls into place, the way it always has been, the way it always will be. I have been blessed to have known this couple for 12 years and counting and this is how I feel about our friendship. They are adorable together. They have been together for almost the entire time I have known them and now they have two beautiful little girls. It has been so much fun “growing up” beside them, jumping the hurdles of college and post college life together and seeing how each others lives have evolved. On a side note, there is a third in our little gaggle of girls who just got engaged!!! Congrats L! Anyway, guys, I had a blast! Thanks for inviting us over, allowing me to document the growth of your family, and allowing my little girl to jump on your bed. :P

Little Runner

Happy Birthday big boy! My little nephew turned two this past week so his dad and I went out to Wild Lake to let him run around and take a few pics. And run he did. In fact, that’s just about all he did! We attempted to get him to sit for a minute but the look he gave us was so sad. So we got up to run some more!

Little Mr. T

I had a great time visiting with this beautiful family today! I had taken pictures for them before when T was just a few months old and it’s fun to see how big he’s become. This little guy was great at hamming it up for the camera, we got some really fun expressions out of him today. The light was perfect, their house is beautiful, and the baby was happy. All in all it was a great morning! Mr. and Mrs. T, thanks for inviting me into your house today. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Winter Sessions!

Welcome to the winter months!  Winter poses a unique but fun challenge for location photographers.  There are a few things that location photographers can do to keep business moving.

Indoor sessions:  Many people feel that location (natural light)  photographers can only do outdoor work but that isn’t true.  I have all the equipment necessary to get you nice indoor portraits as well.  We can shoot at your house or go to an indoor venue.  Some good ones include the B&O railroad museum and the Botanic Gardens in Baltimore.  When considering any indoor venue be sure to contact the location first to make sure you are aware of entrance fees or fees/permits to allow photographing on the grounds.  You will be responsible for these fees.

Snow Mini Sessions:  These are so much fun!  Everyone wants good snow pics but not everyone knows how to get them.  Let me help!  If you live in the Catonsville/Ellicott City area, you can book a snow mini-session.  If you hear of a snow storm coming, give me a ring.  I’ll stick to my general area to make travel easier.  First come first served so call as soon as you hear about any possible snow.

Valentine sessions:  Valentine sessions are great fun and I offer a wide variety of options.  You can book either a full or mini for this holiday.  Mom and Dad, get pictures for the grandparents.  Guys, buy a session for  your girl.  Girls, ever considered a boudoir session for your man?  Give me a ring and lets set it up!

Easey Peazy Lemon Squeezy

If every minny session was this easy I’d be a millionare for sure. Little E was all smiles from the moment we began! This is another little one that I’ve had the pleasure of photographing a few times and it’s always so much fun to watch the kids grow and change and to have a part in documenting that growth. I had a blast with you all today! I can’t wait to see you all and little Miss. E again!
