The H Family {Millersville Infant Photographer}
Mr. Z was just about the sleepiest, cuddliest newborn I have met. This little cutie was sound asleep the whole time, making my job super easy! Not to mention the fact that Mom and Dad had a completely empty sunroom that became an in home studio. It was perfect! I even caught a little smile. It was a great day to be an infant photographer. Thanks Mom and Dad for inviting me into your home to meet your beautiful family.

The B Family {Catonsville Family Photographer}
One of the most wonderful things about being a photographer is capturing precious moments of the people you love and seeing the joy in those moments. One of my oldest friends approached me to take her family pictures and I couldn’t have been more thrilled. She and I go way back to when we were only 6 years old! To see where our lives have taken us and the families that we now have has been an amazing journey. Through the craziness of the teenage years to transitioning into adulthood and finding ourselves, our friendship has grown. And although busy schedules can take over occasionally it is always a comfort to have someone you know you can call on. I can only hope that the B family enjoys their pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them. I often talk about the experience of having family pictures taken this way, instead of in a chain studio, and while I always enjoy meeting new families and getting to know new people, you just can’t beat spending an afternoon with your oldest friend and her beautiful family.

On The Move {Silver Spring Family Photographer}
Two year olds are possibly the most difficult but fun age to shoot. They are constantly on the go, have strong opinions about all things and can’t really be reasoned with. This make shooting them a job that requires lots of energy and patience but it also means that when you get “the” shot, their personality really shines through! This little guy was no different. We were all over the place with this little one but in the end, we got some great shots.

Family time {Catonsville Family Photographer}
One thing I love about being a photographer is watching a family grow. This family has been with me from the beginning. I shot their first daughters newborn pictures and all her milestones, and then her little sisters newborn pictures and now her six month along with the family shots. These little girls always make me laugh, their personalities are so polar opposite. Big sis was serious and observant and later a crazy brave climber getting into everything. Little sis so far is giggly and social and content playing in her little space. (We’ll see if that continues) I can’t wait to see ow they interact as they grow!

12 Days New {Washington DC Infant Photographer}
This little one was so fantastic to work with. She flew threw her session, barely waking except for a quick feed. I have so many favorites from this session I had trouble picking which ones to share! I’ll have to post more later! Thanks for having me out Mom and Dad! Your little girl is beautiful!

She’s getting so big! {Catonsville children’s photographer}
Sometimes the dress makes all the difference. This beautiful little girl (and I’m not biased or anything) had gone shopping with her mom, found the yellow dress, and had been waiting to wear it for a while. Mom put her in a warmer dress to start with thinking it could be chilly in the morning and she did Ok with the green dress on, but as soon as she was changed to her long yellow dress she brightened right up and her personality really came out. She was so excited to be wearing her long yellow dress and it really showed in how comfortable she was in front of the camera! Enjoy Mom and Dad, your little girl did great this morning!
JJ {Catonsville Family Photographer}
This past week was a very busy week for me but I am so glad I had the chance to get to this wonderful family for a shoot! Little JJ is just a month old and really super sweet. Mom and Dad were very prepared with lots of stuff the family had made for the arrival of their little one. Apparently they have a very crafty family! It is fun for me as a photographer to work in the Catonsville area because of all the connections I find I have with people. My family has been in the Catonsville and Howard County Areas since forever so there is always something to chat about and some connection to be made, usually revolving around doctors offices and area schools…go figure.
It as great to meet you all this week! You have a beautiful baby!
