Beautiful Miss. C {Catonsville Senior Photographer}

I had so much fun working with and getting to know Miss. C.   She is such a natural beauty inside and out.  With barely a wisp of make-up and a down to earth personality to match, she is clearly comfortable in her own skin, a trait many don’t develop till later in life.  And this girl was a trooper!  With all the rain we have had the bugs were out in full force!  We were constantly clearly cobwebs, brushing ants aside and running from mosquitos, and this girl can run!   (cross country champ)  :)  Thankfully Mom came to the rescue with some bug spray and we continued right along.  Thank you Miss. C for letting me share a bit of your senior experience with you.  I had a blast and am so excited to see where your life takes you.

5 day old beauty {Catonsville infant photographer}

Beautiful Baby L came into this world five short days ago and is already charming the hearts of those she meets. She’s a little peanut at a little less than 7 pounds and barely (if even?) 18 inches. It’s hard to tell who babies look like usually but going through her gallery there are a few images that make me think she’ll look a bit like her beautiful big sister that I had the pleasure of photographing just a few short weeks ago for her 18 month pictures. Enjoy!

Twins {Ellicott City Family and Child Photographer}

So I’m totally spent. It’s been a crazy long day but I couldn’t say good night without posting just one of these adorable 18 month old twins I just shot. To-stinkin-cute. I’ll blog more later when I can see straight again. :)

Adorable! {Columbia Family Photographer}

Yesterday was a beautiful day and I got to start it with beautiful people! I photographed this little guy for his newborn pics just 6 short months ago. Now he’s a happy smiley and absolutely adorable 6 month old! Except for a rather soggy ground, everything was perfect. Even the location they chose was perfect because they walk there often so it has meaning to the family. Thanks for sharing the day with me!

Winter Sessions!

Welcome to the winter months!  Winter poses a unique but fun challenge for location photographers.  There are a few things that location photographers can do to keep business moving.

Indoor sessions:  Many people feel that location (natural light)  photographers can only do outdoor work but that isn’t true.  I have all the equipment necessary to get you nice indoor portraits as well.  We can shoot at your house or go to an indoor venue.  Some good ones include the B&O railroad museum and the Botanic Gardens in Baltimore.  When considering any indoor venue be sure to contact the location first to make sure you are aware of entrance fees or fees/permits to allow photographing on the grounds.  You will be responsible for these fees.

Snow Mini Sessions:  These are so much fun!  Everyone wants good snow pics but not everyone knows how to get them.  Let me help!  If you live in the Catonsville/Ellicott City area, you can book a snow mini-session.  If you hear of a snow storm coming, give me a ring.  I’ll stick to my general area to make travel easier.  First come first served so call as soon as you hear about any possible snow.

Valentine sessions:  Valentine sessions are great fun and I offer a wide variety of options.  You can book either a full or mini for this holiday.  Mom and Dad, get pictures for the grandparents.  Guys, buy a session for  your girl.  Girls, ever considered a boudoir session for your man?  Give me a ring and lets set it up!

Happy New Year!!!

2011 is hopefully going to be a busy year!  I have already been busy building a new professional site, soon to be announced, and with that launch will be some changes.  Here are some that are currently on my mind:

  • The new site, plus a redesign for my blog!
  • Weekday shooting times, not just weekends anymore!
  • Cool new products including metal prints!
  • A change in prices.  An inevitable change due to running a business.
  • Print packages
  • Promos for newborns, seniors, military families…hummm…maybe more.  :P
  • More holiday  mini-sessions offered.  Current ones available are snow mini’s and valentines mini’s!
  • We’ll see what else as the year unfolds!!!

Happy New Year!!!
